Increasing accessibility to organic food is a Sunrise priority.
To achieve this, we responsibly source high-quality food and feed ingredients from certified organic growers with proven and rigorously-tested organic farming systems. We believe it is important to support small-scale farms and to form strong grower relationships. We source over 80% of all our organic whole grain commodities procured in North America directly from the farm.
We help advance food security by supporting sustainable agriculture while reducing the environmental footprint associated with food production. By 2025, we will reduce our carbon footprint at our manufacturing and processing facilities by installing an alternative, clean, and renewable energy source.
