Canada and the U.S. enter into an organic equivalence arrangement.
2013
Sunrise opens its first U.S. office.
2016
Global organic food sales reach $90 billion.
2018
Sunrise acquires the Port of Giresun, Turkey, and transitions it into the world’s only port dedicated to organic goods.
2019
Sunrise expands operations in the Black Sea region.
2020
Sunrise establishes an Organic Fraud Prevention Program (OIP) using the OTA’s fraud prevention solutions framework and Michigan State University’s fraud prevention resources.

Sunrise opens its first EU office.
